Can I put other liquids in my bottle?

We recommend only filling your Hydrotech bottle with water. Other liquids such as juices or carbonated beverages can affect the electrolysis process and may damage the device.

How long will the hydrogen gas stay in the water after I complete a cycle?

Typically, hydrogen-infused water will remain effective 1-2 hours after a cycle is complete. For optimal benefits we recommend consuming it within 10-15 after infusion.

How does it put hydrogen in water?

Our Hydrotech bottle uses a process called electrolysis, where an electric current splits water molecules (H2O) into hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2). The hydrogen gas is then dissolved into the water, creating hydrogen-rich water.

Do I need to recharge my bottle?

Yes, our Hydrotech bottle is battery powered and needs to be charged via USB-C. We include a charging cable in every box.

If the bottle is cycled multiple times, does this increase the hydrogen level?

Yes, cycling the bottle multiple times can increase the hydrogen concentration slightly, however, 1 cycle will produce a significant level of hydrogen and repeated cycles could result in bottle damage.

Is it normal for my bottle to make a ‘pop' sound when it opens?

Yes, it’s normal for your bottle to make a slight 'pop' sound when opened. this is simply a release of pressure caused by the hydrogen gas. When you hear a pop it's a good sign that you have the lid tightened correctly.

Is Hydrotech a New Zealand-based company?

Yes, Hydrotech is a New Zealand owned and operated company dedicated to producing high-quality hydrogen water bottles and promoting the benefits of hydrogen-infused water in Aotearoa.

I have seen cheaper bottles on the market; what’s the difference?

Cheaper alternatives use lower-quality materials that lack durability and effectiveness. Cheaper bottles often are often manufactured with thin fragile glass and less powerful ioniser bases which don't actually produce an effective level of hydrogen. Investing in Hydrotech is a quality guarantee to ensure better performance, longevity, and overall health.
